NDA Written Exam 2017
NDA is a National Defence Academy established in 1949 , is the joint services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services The Army, The Navy and The Air Force trains together before they go to pre- commissioning training. NDA is located in Kadakwasla near Pune Maharashtra
The form filling age of NDA is 15 1/2 to 16 1/2
The joining age of NDA is 16 1/2 to 19 1/2
The minimum height for NDA is 152cm i.e, 5ft
One has to clear 3 steps to get into NDA
1- Clearing the written examination - 900 marks
2- Clearing the SSB Interview -900 marks
3- Clearing the medicals
WRITTEN PAPER IS DIVIDED INTO 2 SECTIONS
Section 1- Maths 120 Question 300 marks
Section 2- General Ability 150 Question 600 marks
Maths : Important section in Maths are Calculus, Co-ordinate, Trigonometry, Determination and material. One should go for these portion first to grab at least 70% of maths section. Short cut tricks are very helpful to get through this portion.
English : When it comes to English , Vocab of 10 years is really helpful. An individual should read questions first and attempt reading and comprehensions section. PQRS and Para jumble should be solved by looking at the options. One should try to answer the sentences by looking at the options accordingly
Geography : An atlas is very helpful tool to get in depth knowledge of major rivers in India, Mineral recourses, Recourse and development, Agriculture cultivation, major soils, outline/physical/political map of world, capital of the states, major populations and cites
Physics : Candidates should focus more on PHYSICS and in that numerical portion is not to be touched.
Chemistry : Application of chemicals in daily life is important for chemistry portion.
Example : cleansing action of soap , solidifying action of cement , chemical responsible for lightnings of match stick.
Biology : When it comes to biology section food and nutrition and disease and deficiency and disease causing organism has to be studied properly.
